Fade less. Race faster.

One-to-one coaching for gravel, ultra, long road and time trial. I read every ride file you send, check what you burned against what you ate, and find where your power leaks. Then I change the plan.

A gravel racer bent over the handlebars on a dirt road, emptied after an effort

Most riders don’t lack fitness. They fade.

You already train hard. What decides your result is the last third of the race.

Whether your power holds while your heart rate climbs. Whether you ate enough two hours ago. How many watts the wind takes on every flat kilometre. Those three decide more results than another interval block, and they are what I coach.

Illustrative bar chart of a 4-hour ride. Each hour the rider burns 130 to 150 grams of carbohydrate but eats only 45 to 60 grams. The gap comes out of glycogen and reaches about 330 grams by hour 4, which is when the late fade sets in.

Engine

Power that holds in hour four.

Not just in a fresh test. I read the drift ride by ride and build the plan around it.

Riders I coach

“I did not think the extensions could be extended any more, but Thomas found a solution and opened up my way too crunched position. In September 2023 at Powerman Zofingen I rode my best ever 1-hour bike split in this position and finished second.”
